Artist: The Henry Ford Band
Song: Arran
Sounds like: Elements of Jethro Tull and The Corrs with an Americana twist
Perfect for: Entertaining your American friends who are visiting Scotland for the first time
Lilting, melodic and uplifting are words that spring to mind when I first listened to ‘Arran’ by The Henry Ford Band. It feels like one of those days where you go rambling in the hills with a group of pals and you take in the breathtaking scenery and life just hits right, before finishing off the day with a well-earned pint and/or a dram of whisky, if that’s your thing. Honestly, you can’t help but smile when you hear this, would highly recommend if you’re in the mood for some uplifting tunes. Go listen! Go listen!
As a musician myself (listen here to my latest release), I totally understand how important getting feedback is and how hard it can to get people to listen to your music.
