This is why I love doing what I do. When I put ‘That’s The Day!’ on by Rain Real I thought I was going to be out of my depth as my knowledge of this genre is limited. To my delight I heard a familiar sample by Mozart cleverly woven into the fabric of this track; the Queen of The Night aria from The Magic Flute. Given that the aria is about enacting vengeance on the Queen of the Night’s rival, it’s not entirely out of place with the menacing piano riff that bolts this song together. It’s catchy and well produced, go listen.
