It would be easy to dismiss ‘Visions’ by Sharan on a first listen as it takes a few goes to understand what the message is. That being said, it’s worth sticking with it because the more you listen, the more you start to understand the anguish that’s behind the lyrics of this track. For anyone who’s been trapped by depression or panic attacks, you’ll know exactly what this feels like and Sharan’s delivery is pretty apt given the lyrical content. As the tracks approaches its end, there’s hope and strength ‘Imma believe in a vision that’s really real / This dark visions aint real’. Go listen.
